About Us - Decadent Dulcet Beauty

Decadent Dulcet Beauty is a Beauty Blog dedicated to helping it’s readers stay up to date on all thing’s beauty. It was created by Billy Laster Jr, a licensed Cosmetologist and Beauty Expert.

Billy- I created Decadent Dulcet because of my grandmother. She was the entire reason I became a Cosmetologist. My grandmother never felt beautiful. As a young girl her older sister was always seen as beautiful. Their parents would dote all of their attention on to my grandmother’s sister, buy her new dresses and favor her over my grandmother.

Instead of having a new dress, my grandmother would instead always get her sisters “hand me downs”. She never had or wore a brand new item of clothing until much later in her life. I can remember stories she would tell me about how beautiful her sister would look in these gorgeous silk dresses, and how she wanted so bad to have one.

As a result, my grandmother never felt beautiful, and I vowed that I would become a licensed Beauty Professional, to doll my grandmother up. That’s where it started and that’s where I thought it would end. But somehow by accident, or by some villainy of nature, I began to run into other women who were just like my grandmother. Women who for whatever reason, did not feel beautiful. Women who may not understand the actual science of beauty, but who desire to be it none-the-less. This blog is my love letter to you.
